I wore these several times in a drizzle (worked great), and once in the pouring rain for about an hour. After an hour, I was wet from the waist down but it was from sweating, not the pants leaking. If you are of the perspiring persuasion, consider a more expensive option like GoreTex. There are great for blocking all moisture, which doesn't work for me. Also, I wish they had a pocket or two, and some ankle adjustments. Otherwise a solid rain pant.

A perfect RAB fit to these 2.5 layer rain pant: Slim, not overly baggy. The fabric does indeed keep you dry and breathable in the ugliest downpour. Zippers up the leg let you keep your shoes on while changing. They are a great match for a Flashpoint Rain Jacket. I normally wear these over tights or running shorts, so a close-fit, regular pants-fit is just what I was after.
Pros:
Water proof
Cons:
None
Best Used for:
hiking and backpacking
