Warm, stylish jacket
Very warm jacket, slim cut. Very light, looks good. The hood is a bit big in order to accommodate a helmet, but there's a nice velcro strap on the back to make the volume smaller. The pockets open up nice and high so it's accessible if anything is around your waist. My only complaint is the armpi...

Mis-sized & Tight Armpits...
This jacket seems to be a great combination of warmth, packability & weight (17-17.5oz on my scale for a L and 19oz on my scale for an XL). Compared to the OR Helium Hoodie, this jacket as WAY more down, with minimal additional weight and still packs down nicely. However, some reviews across the web...

Light yet warm
Great jacket and will keep you warm down to the 20’s. Handles light rain well and the hood completely covers you up from the elements. Jacket is very packable and light yet the down does a great job.
Pros:
- Lightweight
Cons:
- Shell could rip under heavy camping backpacking
Best Used for:
- everyday use
Would recommend: Yes
Nice Jacket, Covers my backside
Warm, seems well made, I sized up and glad I did. The clue was athletic fit - when I was younger, I would have liked that. Covers my backside - some reviewers do not like this feature, but I do. Rare to find a puffy that covers your bottom but when it is cold out this kind of coverage is amazing. Not so great though for packing down but I can live with that.
Pros:
- Got my backside
Cons:
- Bit heavy, packability a bit big but fine.
Best Used for:
- Staying warm in cold conditions
Would recommend: Yes
Toasty Warm
I haven't gotten a chance to use this in winter conditions, but it feels incredibly warm in the 40 degree range. I'm 6'1 and 185lbs and the large fits perfectly. Looking forward to this keeping me warm all winter long.

This is the one…
I will use this for backpacking the Eastern Sierras in the fall. It has a really good amount of down fill (the baffles are noticeably more poofy than the other jackets I compared it to: Rab microlight alpine and MH Ghost Whisperer 2. The electron pro seems like it’ll be the perfect compromise between compressibility/packability and warmth. Very stoked I didn’t settle for a lesser option. I’m 5’11” and 175 lbs. Large fits well but a bit snugger than other larges.
Pros:
- Comfortable
- durabililty
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Backpacking

Medium size, good looking
The filling material itself is very fluffy and lighter than expected, keeping me warm in cold weather, and the tear-resistant cloth allows me to engage in outdoor activities without restrictions. I recommend the brand Rab

Great size for very warm
Too small and moderate to keep me warm in cold weather, not too heavy, very thick and fluffy, I recommend it. Perfect for cold weather outdoors. Pair with an outer windbreaker for protection from severe weather

Rab Electron Jacket
Rab makes a good product line, this jacket no exception. The electron is mid warmth. I think the sleeves are cut a little tight so if you have big arms you might try another. Others mentioned same. Overall very nice, but not perfect.
Pros:
- Spiffy
Cons:
- tight sleeves
Best Used for:
- Staying warm -10 to +25F
