Most Helpful Negative Review nice jacket
nice jacket, but too similar to the Continuum jacket...so I sent it back. Also, the hood has a wire across the front, which I didn't like. It's a good jacket, but not what I wanted.

Perfect Holiday Gift

by Kathryn, from WA, United States Written on December 26, 2017
I bought this for my boyfriend as a heavy down layer for winter ski touring and mountaineering. It kept him warm overnight when we went snow camping in 10 degree weather. It runs small (I'd recommend sizing up). I have the same one for women's, and I've loved the durability.

The one I bought for my boyfriend was a demo sale, and it as in pristine condition - he didn't notice that it wasn't brand-spanking new when it arrived (had been used for imaging or had been returned without the tags - not worn previously).
Pros:
  • durable
  • Value
  • warm
  • compressability
Cons:
  • Runs small

GOOD DOWJ JACKET

The RAB is a very famous brand with a down jacket. So it is expensive but it is not too much money. Actually, the down is rich and very warm. I also like the color very much. I would like to recommend it to friends and friends around

Great Jacket

by Gennadiy, Verified Owner from DE, United States Written on October 2, 2017
Great Light Jacket for cold weather. I have been wanting to test out a "Rab", down jacket for years. I am very glad I did. my only concern with this coat is the delicate outer material. I have to be careful not to let it snag on anything or it may tear, and this jacket is not cheap. My whole wardrobe is black and more black. I decided it would be best to be a little more visible when trekking in the snow, so I went with the "Juicy" (Orange/Red) color and I love the color. As for its Functionality, it works wonderfully. I've tested it this winter in temperatures of 15 degrees out in eastern Washington. Everyone else looked to be freezing there butts off!, .....but not me. :) I'm 6'2 and I bought a Med size which fits like a glove. I gotta hand it to the Europeans.....They really know how to make a down Jacket, and now I want to try one of their sleeping

A+

This jacket is precisely what I was looking for. I would consider it a medium-heavy technical down jacket. I ordered a medium and it perfectly fits under my large Patagonia supercell. Great purchase.

I lost my Marmot Zeus down jacket and needed a replacement. I liked the Marmot Zeus a lot and thought of just ordering another, but it wasn’t as warm as I wanted it to be (on some really cold days at the top of the mountain, I needed my UA cold gear, my Patagonia down sweater AND my Marmot Zeus to stay warm). So I ordered the Ghost Whisperer hooded down, the Marmot Quasar hooded down, the EB hooded Stormdown, and the Rab Infinity Endurance. The Rab was significantly warmer than the other 3 and exactly what I was looking for. It has a lot more fill, so I probably won't be able to fit the Patagonia down sweater under it and still put on my shell. But I doubt I’ll ever need to. As mentioned in other reviews, there are only two things I don’t like about it (minor annoyances more than major issues): 1) It zips up on the opposite side like a woman’s jacket (I’ll have an alteration shop fix this, which will then make it pretty much perfect), and 2) there is a thin wire in the front of the hood to keep it’s shape, which makes it a little trickier to compress into a small shape. All in all, though, this is an awesome jacket (my wife has the Marmot Quasar jacket for women, but she now wants the female version of the Rab Infinity). As others have mentioned, the cut could be more flattering (they seem to get it right on the women's jackets, but not the men's), but this is my ski jacket and meant to keep me warm, so fashion is less of an issue.

Of the other 3 jackets, they are pretty eq...

Impressive Jacket

by Paul E., from CA, United States Written on July 22, 2015
I was a little reluctant to buy a Rab jacket, since I didn't know much about the company or their products. I was looking for a jacket in-between an ultralight and a very warm jacket - something I can use both on chilly fall high Sierra backpack trips and Sierra winter trips, as well as around town. I had to have a hood - that was a must-have for me, and it had to have a reasonable weight. I narrowed it down to a couple of jackets. I really wanted a Western Mountaineering or Feathered Friends product since I know their quality. But neither made one that fit that niche. So I took a chance on the Rab Infinity Endurance jacket. Although I haven't had the chance to use it, the quality is outstanding and the fit is perfect for me. At 6'2", 210 lbs, the XL fits great. The jacket weighs what it was advertised to weigh - about 20 oz and feels great. I was very satisfied with the delivery time from Campsaver, too. I would definitely recommend this jacket and this retailer. Great product.

Rab Infinity Endurance

Well... I must say, for the weight and warmth I am absolutely amazed on how well this jacket performs. At temps in the low 20's (°f) I can simply walk out with just a thermal as a base layer. The look is sleek and the draw cords on the hoodie makes this jacket "the home away from home" Highly compressable is also a plus for me since I am a cyclist and I tend to over heat at times. I could just tuck it away and forget. At just 21oz. it feels like you are encased in warm air.
