Most Helpful Positive Review Super light and warm
This Rab Zero G Down Jacket is very unique. It only weighs 11 oz. and the size L has 4.5. oz. of 1000FP RDS Goose Down. This jacket is so light it seems impossible. The 10 Denier fabric is also lightweight, but seems to be tough. I have the large and the fit is just fine. The jacket is warm, comfortable to wear, packs down small in the included stuff sack. Unlike other reviewers I have not noticed any cold spots. Two things that might be deal breakers.

Best jacket I've ever owned

by wjrabbit, Verified Owner from DE, United States Written on July 11, 2020
This is easily the warmest most wind resistant jacket I have ever owned. Well worth the price tag. Now with another Polar Vortex hitting the north east I'm glad I have it. Over the last couple days I've gone between this and my EMS 3 in one. Hands down smokes the 3 in 1 out of the water. The only thing I haven't tested is water resistance.

Best down jacket

by PETE, from CA, United States Written on April 21, 2020
I own 4 other down jackets, marmot, Edie Bauer, sherpa, mountian hardwear, and this jacket by far blows the other jackets away. Very comfortable and looks great. The main zipper is very smooth. I have so far only used it in 50 degree weather, but I can tell it will be warm in much colder weather. I am a 5-7, 170 pound male, and a large fits me perfectly. The back side is designed to be a little bit longer, but I simply tuck it in. Due to the thin material, I plan to only wear at my camp sites and around town. Due to the thin material, this jacket needs to be treated carefully. I would buy this jacket again.

Fly-weight, super warm space suit....

by JeremyS, from VA, United States Written on January 19, 2020
I purchased this as a light-weight take-a-long for trips when weather can be unpredictable. Spring and Fall can bring 20-40 degree shifts in wheather between one day to the next in the Midwest U.S., and the front range. The Zero G is a perfect solution. First and foremost, the fit is outstanding. I’m an athletic 6’1” and weigh around 173lbs; the jacket fits as though it was tailor-made for my frame. If you’ve ever worn an Arc’teryx Cerium, the fit is very similar. Unlike the Arc’teryx and similar fly-weights, however, the zipper on the Zero G inspires much more confidence. The 7d Quantum shell is remarkably wind resistant. I was concerned about the durability of such thin skin, but it seems remarkably resilient...though I’ve not wrestled with any tumbleweeds in it—and I would expect to see a feathery mess if I did! The 1000-fill down abundantly fills the baffles, and provides immediate warmth. Yes, it is significantly warmer than an 800-fill Down Sweater or other jackets in that class. It’s also very slick looking. The shell has a nice sheen to it. There are less expensive jackets that will provide you the same level of warmth, but none have the same amount of style and weightlessness.

Happy shopping!

by Bing Yue, Verified Owner from OR, United States Written on August 16, 2019
I have long wanted to have a light, warm down jacket that is easy to carry. I finally found this suitable baby in the mail pushed by Campsaver.com. After inquiring about the various characteristics of the clothes on the official website, I found that this is what I dreamed of, and the price was very favorable. After receiving the things, it is also suitable to try on the size (5.7ft, 79kg, size: L), a happy shopping!
