These shoes are well made and very comfortable. They provide good support but there isn't much cushion in the Vibram outer soul. They run narrow and I had to buy 1/2 size larger than I normally wear.

WORTH EVERY PENNY
I walk over rocky terrain at work and have been having problems with my feet. I decided to spend more than I could really afford because of the reviews I had read about Scarpa Pro Zens. They are without a doubt the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. Normally I wear a 12, but because of the reviews I went with a 12 1/2. They fit like a glove.

Step into quality with Scarpa!
I’m new to hiking shoes and am new to the Scarpa brand after much research into different brands. My first impressions of the Zen Pro hiking shoe: Very comfortable, close to wearing sneakers except the outsole is harder rubber, naturally, given the durability needed for hiking. So, there is a harder feeling when walking but still cushiony and comfortable. In my case, I don’t really do hiking but I enjoy wearing the Zens as everyday shoes around town They are THAT comfortable! In doing research, I found differing and confusing advice on sizing for Scarpa. I wear US 11 1/2 in sneakers, US 11 in dress shoes, and the Scarpa size 44.5 which corresponds to US 11 fits me comfortably. The Zens appear to be very well-made and are reasonably priced.
