Great pillow much nicer than the Exped
great pillow now that I got the large. Got both the Sea to Ummit Areos and the Exped Air Pillow thinking I'd try them both. For me, the Sea to Summit was much, much, much, nicer. It felels very nice because the soft insulation and the cloth type material covering it. One valve worked just as well as the two on the Exped, if not better! The Exped felt like plastic and it was very noisy, not the Sea to Summit. The weight difference is minimal. I spent 62 days on a trek with a foam pillow that needed to be stuffed and re-fluffed every night, and this will be a dream and save me 12 oz. The only pr...

Best pillow ever
This is a great and comfortable pillow. I tried trekology, hikentury and also nemo fillo (which is good but a little low for side sleepers). This pillow is very comfortable and super compressible for backcamping. Yes it's expensive but it's worth the nights sleep with a good pillow. I am a side sleeper. It was worth buying it.

Easy, packable, soft
There may not be any down cushioning in this pillow, but the cover is very soft, and the pillow is a good shape and size for backpacking (I got the regular size). It is incredibly easy to inflate and deflate, and you can easily adjust how much air is in it to find the most comfortable cushion level for you. It packs up into a very small sack, and is quite light. Made all the difference on my last trip-so nice to have a pillow!

Light and comfortable
What else do you need? It weighs almost nothing and packs to about the size of a tennis ball. The material is very comfortable and doesn't slide around on my sleeping pad. Takes a few seconds to inflate and deflate. A little expensive but comfortable sleep is worth it and sea to summit has a solid reputation.
Pros:
- Light and comfortable
Cons:
- A little expensive
Best Used for:
- Sleeping

Best pillow for backpackers
Comfortable enough while still remaining lightweight - a fine feat for this pillow. I own the Nemo Fillo (more comfortable) and the Thermarest compressible (also more comfortable), but wouldn't take either on a backpacking trip. The Aeros, on the other hand, threads the needle perfectly - just comfortable enough and light enough for backcountry adventures.
Pros:
- Lightweight
Cons:
- Marginal comfort
Best Used for:
- Backpacking

Comfy pillow
Nice inflatable pillow. I got the larger size and really like it. It does t look like it would be any more comfortable than other pillows but it is!

not so great
bought three of these for camping. first night woke up middle of the night to the pillow deflated. Other two had the same problem that other people were using. Threw it in the garbage about three days later when it became dead weight in my pack. I will say when it was inflated it worked great, until around 2 am when its deflated. I would not recommend this pillow.

Totally Great!!
I believe this is the best engineered camping pillow on the market. its useful in any environment (i.e. camping, airplane, car, train, etc). Extremely easy to inflate/deflate. Compact/lightweight/durable. There just isn't a downside to this product and the company (SeatoSummit) is an innovative leader in the outdoor arena. I would recommend making a light weight pillow case for it to protect the soft outside of pillow from normal wear and hair/face oils etc.

Great pillow but better options!
First off, I love this pillow. The valve is an amazing idea. It is comfortable and easy to adjust. The only bad part is it feels fragile. I found a cocoon travel pillow that is designed much like the thermarest products and feels much sturdier, is half the price and has a removable outer.

Best pillow ever
Bought this pillow after reading a backpacking light review on several pillows from various companies. The aeros premium was right at the top. Now I know why. I have a hard time sleeping in the backcountry as it is (a bit of grizzly paranoia). Couple that with discomfort, and nights are plain miserable and seem to last forever. This pillow solved all but my mental issues. I can sleep on my back or side, it's not noisy, it's adjustable, I don't sweat, it fits perfect in the hood of my bag, it weighs 3 oz, and is about the size of a dinner roll. I've thought of buying one for my bed at home, I love it so much.
