This is a light "waterproof" (not intended for submersion) compression sack. The top has to be rolled at least 3 times away from you, and then the top plastic buckle ends are snapped together towards you. Has 4 compression straps to cinch down once you put the top on. The eVent is supposed to let air out as you compress the sack, but not allow water in. The large seems to work well for holding my WM Badger 7 foot sleeping bag. I have another compression sack that has a cord that tightens the top. Cord tightening is far easier than stuffing the bag in and rolling and buckling while the bag is trying to expand out. The cord types don't stop water as well though, so the rolling and buckle works to keep water out.
Cons:
- Rolling it up and buckling

I purchased the large size of this product. I can fit my large North Face Cats Meow mummy sleeping bag, thermarest medium compression pillow, pants, long sleeve shirt, and socks into this bag. Once compressed it then fits in the sleeping bag compartment of my Osprey Atmos AG 50L. This bag is super strong and well made. You can kneel on the bag to push the remaining air out and really pull on the straps without concern of them breaking. Being completely waterproof I have the piece of mind knowing my gear won’t get wet.
Pros:
- Water proof
- Well made
- Looks Cool

This Compression Dry Sack is great. I'm able to get things like sleeping bags down to the size of a football and protected from any possibility of moisture. I use this as an inner dryness barrier with either my sleeping pad inflation bag or pack liner as the outer dryness barrier.
Cons:
- Cost
- Straps tend to twist
