Perfect for camping

Using this for car camping, sometimes do disperse where there are no facilities around. I removed the mesh filter and got paper filters for no mess clean up and won’t have to waste water rinsing/cleaning coffee grounds. Preferred this option over bringing a French press. Even fits over yeti 14oz coffee mug, which I was worried the mug might be too wide

Compact and perfect

This this is awesome. It so compact and flat for travel, and still brews a hood cup of coffee right over your mug so no need for extra dishes. Also you can brew with a paper filer to avoid the mess of grind clean up or if over the reusable filter that comes and is detachable. Its small enough we may buy another so we can brew both cups of coffee at the same time

Great for a few uses....

I was really happy when Sea to Summit came out with a coffee pour-over / porta filter that matched the rest of the X-Pot set I have. After I started to use it for a full season of both car camping and backpacking I ended up dreading using it after moving to another.

The item is not bad...

It was near impossible to use on the X-Cup's as they're not super sturdy. I'd recommend getting a rigid cup.

Then you go to really clean it then it becomes near difficult. The filter disc can come out of the grommet and has been near impossible to re-insert. I never looked for field replaceable parts for this but I hope you can get a filter disc.
