Good Shoes

Skechers are excellent value for the money. These shoes have slightly less cushion than I anticipated. They are lightweight and good for short to medium distances. Decent enough for trail running.

Needs more forefoot cushion

I ordered these knowing they were much lighter than their big brother the Skecher Gorun Ultra (that I love for training but are a touch heavy to race in). I expected the Gorun Ride 3 to be similarly cushioned, but fall way short. Don't get me wrong, they do give a reasonably cushioned ride, just not enough for a everyday training shoe. They are nice fitting, comfortable, and roomy in the toe box but are just in between being too heavy to race in but not enough cushion for everyday.

I like them well enough to wear through their life but probably won't buy again.

Not comfortable

Pro: Lightweight, flexible, nice upper material
Cons: Not comfortable - too narrow at mid-foot, and when running and walking, it felt like there was a bump on the insole towards the lateral side of the forefoot (only on the right shoe - possibly a quality control issue with manufacturing). I had to stop running after less than 15 minutes due to pain from this bump.

I have or had two other pair of go run shoes, I like the width in the toe box, my feet are not jammed into an area that comes to a point. The cushioning is great and really the weight is remarkable and light. Even the color is good, never would have thought of getting black shoes again but with the price I couldn't pass em by. Good solid shoes for the next 40 or so miles.
