This is my first camping mug and I bought 200ml version. It is small and sized like a paper cup.
It is very light and balanced. Not easy to knock over like paper cups. Not to mention it keep warm/cool much longer than any types of mugs.
The double wall make the mug as thick as a ceramic cup, which is great for your lip. And it doesn't have the same metallic taste as other steel mugs. Mug exterior is always cool to touch while the content could be very hot. So you don't need to buy the hot lips for normal single-walled mugs.
Although it does not have handle, it comes with a mesh bag for drying. I really happy that I bought the handle-less version because it looks better and smooth to touch, and yet, drying it while hiking is not a problem with the mesh bag.
Titanium is not a material easy to handle. You can see how much work Snow Peak made into the mug. You can never see or feel any seams. It is expensive because titanium is an abrasive material and tooling need to be replaced more often than handling steel. And because of its strength and quality, this mug will just last forever and become a heirloom item. For me, it justify for its 3x price than a standard steel double-walled.
After washing it, I recommend drying it with tissues because water marks can be visible. But surprisingly, water marks can be easily removed just by rinsing it.
