So far, very impressed with this "ultra" light tent. It's called a 2 person tent, and it is, if both of you are tiny, tiny, tiny. Otherwise, considering it's only 2.1 pounds, it's the ideal 1 Person super ultra light tent, i.e. perfect for keeping you and your gear dry. However, make sure you purchase some stout, ultra light stakes. The large titanium shepherd style "toothpicks" can possibly be used in a number of intricate situations, but not as tent stakes, UNLESS you have the ideal conditions. Otherwise, they bend with the least amount of effort, if you stick them into hard soil or rock infested terrain.

Also, be extra careful introducing the tent to sharp objects...its material is extremely thin and could be quite vulnerable in the wrong conditions/situations. Which makes me wonder how long this tent will last. But don't let me give you the impression this tent is marginal. It's not. Well designed, and put together with great precision, i.e. not, I repeat, NOT made in China. Which in this day and age is quite remarkable.

I gave it four instead of five stars because the tent needs more outings to really tell me if its got what it takes.

This is my first backpacking tent and i am impressed by the 2.1 lb weight. It is, however, very small. I am 5'6" and my boyfriend is 6'3" and the dog is 40lb. The two of us just fit side by side. The dog had to lay half on top of me. I have only set it up in the yard so far. Based on the first night i am going to keep it for solo backpacking primarily based on the weight. I wish there was more ventilation without the fly attached other than the front door. The reason i gave it four stars are the stakes. They are about as thick as a strand of angel hair spaghetti no, make that an uncooked udon noodle. A few popped out overnight, maybe when i took off the fly. They will need to be replaced. Note: i wanted to buy the 3 person but couldn't find it available anywhere.
