nice pad
This is a nice, wide pad (size XL). I used it 2 nights on a scout campout. After waiting a couple of hours for it to self inflate it took a few breaths of air to get it to the right firmness for me but it lasted both nights.

I bought this pad because it is one of the thickest pads available. I have taken it backpacking a few times and I have slept better than ever before. It does pack larger than other sleeping pads, and is a little heavier than others, but it is worth it to me to have the additional comfort (I used to pack 2 sleeping pads). Good, durable,not as good as luxury map
These mattresses work fine... I was just disappointed because I ordered them thinking the they were the thermarest luxury map pads. These pads are pretty comfortable, but aren't as thick as the luxury map... if I could do it again, I would order the other. However, the price was great! I still haven't figured out why they were called irregular.
