Topo Hiking boots
I had some Topo sneakers and knew I should get hiking boots for some hikes. These are great. They are also made without rabbit glue or leather, which is also great.
Would recommend: Yes
Lightweight, great traction
I purchased a pair for my wife (women's) and I (men's)... we have used them for 8-14 mile hikes. Very comfortable with great traction, ample toe room, and ankle support. The only adjustment I needed to make was the insert was rubbing on the outer part of my foot just before the heel causing a "hot spot" on my foot. I added another thin insert to relieve that... I could have also cut the edge of the Topo insert down a bit.
Pros:
- Lightweight, great toe room without being sloppy
Cons:
- Insert for my flat feet was not for me
Best Used for:
- Day hikes on rugged trails, shorter distance trail runs
