Got the Trangia and opened the box only to find a dented up frying pan. Considering the pans that come with this kit are under $20, I thought that Campsaver would send out a replacement or something. They wanted me to send the entire system back and be without it until they got it and then they would send another back (weeks of waiting for something I already paid for). Seems like a simple thing to take a pan and ship it out to make a customer happy. The rest of the Trangia kit was in good repair and has been enjoyable to cook with. I'm impressed with the design and how it really brings out the efficiency of the Trangia burner. I had 500ml of water boiling in the kettle in 6 minutes 13 seconds. That's a couple minutes faster than just using a pot stand and the burner alone. Other than the poor customer service, I'm happy with the stove and have made cornbread, steak, rice, and lots of boiling water with it. Good product.

The stove is plain and simple workhorse. It’s not the fastest but it just plain works. I think it’s hard to beat for the price and reliability.

This is my second purchase of this set. My first was 30 years ago, and I used it extensively for Adirondack hiking-canoeing. I think it's best for ultra light camping - you have so much capability within a very small, lightweight package. I also find it fun to use. While you might not get the
"jet" effect that other types of stoves have, I like the simplicity and practicality of this burner. No need to worry about a nozzle getting clogged.
This new set is not quite as precision made as mine from 30 years ago, but it is still of very good quality, and I think a great value.

Lite it is not, but is very solid and easy to use to cook meals and make a cup of coffee. Have use it on ski trips and it works wonderful in all but the coldest conditions.

I bought this stove & pans for backpacking and it's super light. It's not small or compact, but very light and very, very stable. The pans don't move around, so you can cook and not worry about losing your food to the ants. The customer service at Campsaver.com is superb and I will continue to buy from this seller.

I've been testing it out for the past two weeks with various fuels and in different conditions in preparation for an upcoming thru-hike. This thing is amazing! It is durable, light, and cooks food very fast! I've gotten water to boil in under 10 minutes, and I've been able to cook most foods in less time than that. Fuel is easy and cheap too. I'd recommend this stove to anyone.

Got this for the AT, but have used it several times for actual cooking (not just heating water). I cooked a home-cooked hamburger soup, eggs and sausage, baked muffins and toast. I wouldn't trade this item for ANYTHING else. I lived in a tipi, and will again, and I plan to use this every single day. Love it.

I bought this for cooking on the Appalachian Trail, and I've been using it almost every day before I leave in June. I'm taking my time on the trail and want some comfort foods, so I selected a stove that I could bake with. I LOVE this little stove. It sets up so easily, and the built-in windscreen keeps it lit. I plan on purchasing the attachment to use liquid gas as well. Very well made, I LOVE T

I bought this item as a camping/emergency/Prep item and couldn't be happier with the purchase. This is top of the line gear that anyone should have in their emergency/camping pack. The only problem I had with this item was deciding WHICH one to get as I had so many great choices of Frangia models to choose from!!!
