Its well made in Sweden and any research will show one that Trangia is the gold
standard for alcohol stoves. Buy once type of purchase as the quality lasts a life time.
That said, this stove comes with snuffer lid and a stand that is sturdy and big enough
to actually use. Stand will press easily into ground and form a sturdy platform for cooking
while the stove is centered and able to breath and put out the heat.
This stove kit is ready out of box to perform. Its performance is flawless.

Great bug out bag/emergency kit item.
You should have a safe/sturdy bottle to carry fuel when backpacking/hiking.

All Trangia stoves are good kit. Most people that use them are of the ultra light weight types. To meet its full potential many if not most make their own custom pot stands/wind screens as they can be very compact and light. Check for plans on the net. Mine is a piece of thin sheet metal with vent holes that took 10 minutes to make and wraps around a nalgene bottle for storage. I bought this item

As a car camper, space is important , but weight is not. I have several backpacking style stoves, rigged with Trangia burners, and they work well. However, I just don't like the wobbly pot stands. This Trangia with the burner/pot stand works very well; although you would need to fashion your own wind screen. Made of steel, it does retain some heat from the flame, but does not heat up to the point

In retirement, my wife and I like to go for long walks in the woods. We like to enjoy our our tea/coffee hot and fresh. This little stove lets us heat water when we're deep in the woods and make a cup. Excellent product!
