Most Helpful Positive Review great vegan hiking boots
i have been wearing these hiking sections of the appalachian trail. rocks, roots, streams, swamps, bouldering, hail, rain... keep my ankles from rolling, keep me from sliding on leaves and wet rocks and keep my feet dry. after searching for well made vegan hiking boots i was thrilled to find these. they aren't advertised as vegan but after getting in touch with the company they confirmed all non

by Michelle O., from CA, United States Written on July 20, 2015
i purchased these back in 2011 when they earned Backpacker editors choice award. While not the most durable shoe definitely most comfortable and lightweight. Waterproof is good. I have a low volume high arch foot and this fit well.

Not a good fit for all, costly to return

by Rocky Mountain, Written on April 3, 2014
I am an avid regular hiker in the rugged Rocky Mountains, and I have been looking for a new hiker after wearing out my last pair of another brand which lasted 11 years. I truly wanted the TrekSta to be a good fit, but it just does not work for me. First, I am of average, athletic build with average feet and stride. I was looking for a vegan boot, and though the company doesn't advertise it as a ve

TrekSta Forever!

by Red, from CA, United States Written on April 3, 2014
I am a 59 year old woman with knarly feet - bunions, corns, wide-spreading bones, arthritis, low arches. I was beginning to think that there wasn't a boot out there that would work for me. I was wrong. The TrekSta boots are INCREDIBLE. I hike ALOT, and my feet were always slammed at the end of a trek, until I got a pair of these boots. They feel like I'm walking on cushions, with arches and a

THANK YOU TrekSta!!

by Teaberry Gal, Written on December 12, 2013
These boots have made me TrekStas latest fan. Am preparing for a 20 mile day In April and here in NE that can mean anything from snow to ice and mud. These will no doubt be the boots I'll wear. Had for a month now and could not be happier with fit and comfort. Try these boots, you will have VERY happy feet!

LOVE THESE HIKERS!!!!

by Peg the Cacher, Written on September 10, 2011
Used these new boots right out of the box for winter hiking. Trail was snow covered ice and snow covered rocks. Great traction on rocks, even when the soles were wet, and on the ice. My jeans were soaked at the hem, my feet were completely dry! Very comfortable, no blisters or rubs, even without breaking them in. Great pair of boots. Am planning to use these on a 26 mile hike on the Inca Trail to
