Excellent snowshoes
My wife and I bought his and hers versions of the Wilderness shoes after some fairly extensive research into good all around shoes and have used them several times. They seem to be as advertised. So far I've used them in relatively deep snow, icy trails at times, rolling hills and significant side hill grades. They performed admirably well. Light, pretty agile, and an intuitive binding system wit

Tubbs Wilderness Snowshoes
I found a great price on a previous years model at Campsaver. Came with the tried and trusted 180 Pro binding that has been around for years, not the same as on the current model. It was good enough for more than a decade, and it's still a great and easy to use binding. I'm a big guy, 245lbs naked, so went with the 36" for maximum floatation. Tubbs is a leader in the snowshoe industry and the Wilderness does not disappoint. Very happy with my purchase.
Pros:
- Price & quality

The most bang for your buck
These are really great all around snowshoes. wether its steep, packed, mountain climbs or flat, powdery meadows, these will snowshoes will handle it effortlessly. The heel lift makes easy work of inclines and the super easy to use binding system makes taking them on and off a breeze. The only reason I give less than 5 stars is because there are similar snowshoes on the market that weigh slightly less, but when you consider all the design perks of these snowshoes, a few extra ounces is worth it. Highly recommend these snowshoes!
