Great outdoor accessory

quick and easy setup. Strong
Most Helpful Positive Review Measurements not realistic; order larger
I debated for a long time about which size to order. I sat on bar stools and chairs of comparable height and finally chose the regular size because it is chair height. But you sink a few inches into the fabric seat, so in effect, the stool is approximately 3" closer to the ground than regular chair ...

Most Helpful Negative Review Great in the Beginning - Then Not So Muc
I used this stool for disc golfing for about 1.5yrs. One of the legs broke and WalkStool refuses to honor their 2yr warranty. They say it was not a quality issue, but a misuse. They said I used it on uneven ground and that caused the failure. It is advertised for outdoor use, the ground is not alway...

Very Sturdy

by Jack Mac, Verified Owner from MO, United States Written on August 14, 2024
I’m 6’4” and 200 pounds. I find this 22” Walkstool reassuringly sturdy. I have an even lighter stool from another supplier, but it requires much much more careful assembly and there is a fear of collapsing. Even though this stool from Campsaver is an extra pound, it’s the one I choose to use. It’s higher too.

Fairly well made, but not as stable as I thought it would be! Probably should have gotten the stand to stabilize the legs

I was searching for a tall stool. 2 friends have this stool and were enthusiastic recommending it. Most portable stools were too short. This stool is available in 3 heights. It has a comfortable seat and has a good weight rating. Very satisfied and will recommend to friends.
Pros:
  • Height & Comfort
Cons:
  • None yet.
Best Used for:
  • Resting at outdoor events while recovering from knee surgery.

I’m a Plein air artist. Getting older now I can’t always stand to paint, this little stool has been a lifesaver for me. It is so lightweight and with its retractable legs stows neatly inside my backpack and cary on luggage.
Pros:
  • Light weight & minimal space.
Cons:
  • No back rest

This was a great buy! I was skeptical at first but the 26 inch is a great fit for me at 6’3” and 300 pounds it feels solid when I sit down. I take it everywhere so far. Will be presenting more for my hunting backpack and for my vehicles for the fam.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • Does slip on wet tile will purchase the part that holds the legs together on wet surface.
Best Used for:
  • Everything so far

Great Portable Stool

by LizzyLee, Verified Owner from NM, United States Written on August 23, 2019
I am a sketcher, watercolorist who frequently sketches in the city or out in nature. I travel frequently and this is the first stool that I own that I can easily take with me. It packs great into the suitcase or even an 18" carry-on bag. I am 5'5" and the 18" size stool is a perfect fit. No more sore bum or toes going to sleep. It is a comfortable height. Construction is sturdy, nothing flimsy here. The legs collapse easily and the bag the stool came in is great for storage. There comes a time when you need to upgrade your equipment no matter what you are doing and this is one upgrade I strongly recommend.

First off- We appreciated the excellent and speedy service we received from Campsaver regarding our online order to the rapid shipping of this product. In trying out the Walkstool Comfort, it was exactly what we expected for our travel needs in anticipation of standing for many hours on our upcoming tour. The telescopic aluminum legs are pretty stable and the netted seat is comfortable for our height and weight. Having this Walkstool we hope will renew our desires to travel once more.

  • lightweight and portable in one's backpack
Cons:
  • None

I was hesitant to spend the money on this, but you get what you pay for, it is very sturdy. I got this to use at work, i work at a mine and I can just put this in my gear bag to take wherever I go. It's nice to sit down at lunch and take a load off.
