I have a BD BDV hoody made from the same Shoeller dynamic material with nanosphere, and I really love the material. I've been looking for a pair of pants made from the same material for a while (BD discontinued their BDV pants), and I was super excited to find these Westcomb pants using the same material. However, as soon as I received my order and tried them on, my excitement turned to disappointment. The fit is horrible. I normally don't complain about fit, but these are really bad. I'm 5'8 140 lbs, 30 waist, athletic build, and the size S should fit me pretty well (and it does in the waist area). However, there is an excess amount of material in the butt and crotch area. It's not just cosmetic, I can really feel all that excess material when I tried walking around, lifting my leg, etc. Like I have a plastic bag hanging off my backside, it feels very annoying. I can literately pull these pants all the way above my belly button, that's how much excess material there is. I have stretchy, hiking/climbing pants from MHW, dead bird, BD, and none of them fit like this. Consider how expensive these pants are, and the legendary product quality I've heard about Westcomb, I am really disappointed. I'm considering returning them, but it's so hard to find pants made from the same material.

The best pants I have purchased, Ever. Material is as advertised,and COMFORTABLE. Trail color are my "everyday" pants and black color for "dress-up." Thank You Westcomb and Campsaver!

These pants are awesome. The water just beads up and off. Nice Pockets that are flannel lined. The magnetic built in belt is great. The 4 way stretch is phenomenal, this is the real deal stretch, no strain in stepping up or rise up the leg. My wife had hated all my other pants so i decided it was time for something new.
