A very basic and fool proof design. I love being able to cook in my vestibule with a silent stove. 2 ounces of fuel will boil plenty of water for meals and hot drinks. Being able to use multiple types of fuel just adds to the versatility. For the price and weight this stove is a no-brainer.
Pros:
- Small, lightweight, multiple fuel, seems indestructible
Cons:
- For what it is, I see no cons

So I have MANY stoves... and a few that I would recommend and this is one of them. this is so Light, so Small and make utra light backing even better. one thing that is great about these little stoves is that you are able to use many types of fuel. so when your out on the tral and come to a small town you will be able to restock if needed because there is a good chance that they have a fuel that you can use.
Best Used for:
- Backpacking / Tracking
- Back country hiking
- bac

I’ve built plenty of the tuna cans stoves and even aluminum stones out of beer cans but this is negligible increase in weight and much much more sturdy I wish I had bought this years ago it is now my emergency stove when I’m out hunting I need something to eat because I have an animal down and I’m not leaving

It works really well but it is better with larger pots, the usual mug size pot will be engolfed by the flames. The wind breaker will last less than the stove

I bought this stove a month ago and tried it several times in my backyard with my Kelly Kettle. I wasn't impressed by the first and second runs. It turns out there is a break in period. My third run with it was amazing. The stove produced huge jets and lots of energy. I was able to boil 1 liter of water in my Kelly Kettle under 5 min. I own out-d Chinese stove and another one similar to Trangia and It takes much longer (up to 30 min) to boil 1 liter of water with them. White box stove is a fire beast!

We got this as a second cooking source in addition to our Trangia 27 set. Its a beautiful design and very light and fit great into an unused corner of the Trangia bag. we were shocked that the flames are really huge, more than we are used to and too much for our little cookset. Plus there's no clear way to extinguish the flame - you just have to let it burn out, so you have to be prepared with pots of water you need to boil or fill it to burn only for the time needed. This is a different way to cook from the Trangia, which comes with a simmer ring which can extinguish the flames. The White Box Stove is perfect for boiling a lot of water quickly but we will use the Trangia for all other [more controlled] cooking. Doesn't come with the little square of aluminum for the base anymore, so be sure to bring your own if cooking on anything flammable such as a picnic table.

Super light and works like a dream. Love the fact that it is made out of recycled aluminum bottles.

I've used this stove about a dozen times so far and it's worked great. To light it I used a metal match to throw sparks into the stove. It worked great on both denatured alcohol and Heet. Just make sure it's on a level surface when using it as I had it rock and melt a hole in the windscreen.

This will be my first use of an alcohol stove on a multi day trip. The set up and pack-ability of the stove is great. Looking forward to many trips using this stove.
