Best all around carabiner I've ever used.
I'm a former mountain guide and have owned and used hundreds of biners in the last 30+ years. This is the best I've ever used. Great weight for a full-sized biner, and you can still easily clip with gloves on so it can be used in all 4 seasons. They have a big enough basket to easily fit 2 clove hitches. Having a shrouded nose is great and doesn't snag on runners or pro, making things a little easier and less frustrating, especially important at altitude. They also come in a decent array of colors which is nice for matching cams and simplifying things. I have over 30 of them now and they are quickly taking over the roles of all my other wired biners. The price is high but if you're not in a hurry try to catch them on sale and buy in rack packs to save money. If you're on the fence on these, come on over to the dark side. You won't be sorry.
Pros:
- Relatively light weight, snag-free nose, full-size for 4 season use.
Cons:
- Price, having even more colors would be a nice option.
Best Used for:
- Everything. I'm replacing nearly every non-locki g biner with these, except racking biners.

Sport and trad climber N. Idaho
I love the fact that these biners are full sized for easy handling with or without gloves. Excellent feel and weight. A bit pricey, but worth it when you consider alpine trad climbing where every ounce saved is critical to achieving your goal without feeling like a pack mule. I'm a minimalist at heart.
