Barely a recommend

This isn't necessarily a bad tent. The materials and construction are good and the weight is acceptable given the materials, but there's a lot to not like about it.

It has a sloppy pitch. Like, you see those pole clips in the photo? They have zero tension when you clip them in. They just sort of flop around loosely and guying out the two guy points near the blue pole only makes it worse at those clip points. I think it'll work, it's just sloppy and makes for a loose pitch. The shock cord stake points on the corners don't help either, so just cut those off and replace them with something that's not rubber bands.

There's a lot of unnecessary weight here. The tent body connects to the fly at the pole points with four buckles and they are way bigger than they need to be. I may look for a way to cut these buckles off and replace them with something else entirely. There's also a couple straps under there that run the width of the fly and they don't need to be so heavy duty. The pole clips are also much bigger than necessary. If they downsized these things and made the tent body full mesh this would be a lighter tent than it is.

There's almost no mesh in either the tent body or the fly, so it's going to be really hot and humid in anything but the coolest temperatures. I knew this, though, and bought it for cool weather camping, but it deserves mentioning.

The vestibule could be bigger. Not much, even an extra 3 inches would make it much more useful.
