Amazing! Beautiful and comfortable. Stiffer boots with generous lateral and ankle support for carrying heavy loads over difficult terrain. Climb, hike, trudge where ever your heart desires! The most awesome thing about these boots now is the fully leather-lined heel area

These boots are amazing for back packing and general mountaineering. Through the years I have owned Danner Mountain Light, Italian Vasque Sundowners, Vasque Montana's, Merril Wilderness, Zamberlan Vioz, Asolo 520GV, Scarpa Kinesis GTX, and Limmer’s custom standard boots. First, the construction of this boot is amazing. Solid and seems to be comfortable. However, I’ve hiked about 50 miles and I get massive blisters on my heels. I’ve tried different socks, lace tightnesses, etc. I also sent a note to scarpa to get their thoughts and they never responded…which is lame for such a premium boot.
