Product Info for Sea to Summit Comfort Light Insulated Mat
The Comfort Light Insulated sleeping mat uses Air Sprung Cell technology and a hybrid matrix of offset cells. There is a double layer of cells in the torso for increased comfort and warmth, and a single layer of cells in the head and legs to reduce the weight. Thermolite and Exkin Platinum are used to optimize heat retention and the multi function valve allows simple inflation, deflation and the ability to easily fine tune your personal comfort level.
Features of Sea to Summit Comfort Light Insulated Mat
R-Value of 4.2
Exkin Platinum fabric and THERMOLITE insulation are combined to prevent heat loss
Multi-function valve for fast and easy inflation, deflation and fine tuning of air pressure
Liquid extrusion TPU lamination bonds to the mat face fabric more consistently than a film, virtually eliminating delamination issues common in other mats
An anti-microbial treatment is added to the TPU to prevent issues caused by warm, moist air trapped inside the mat
Comes with a quality stuff sack which doubles as a pump, a repair kit containing six self-adhesive patches for repairing punctures in the field, and a spare silicone one-way valve insert

I've been using the Exped Airmat Lite for quite a while, I still like the Airmat but it's kinda noisy when turning. The Comfort Light; however, is a lot quieter and it's also very comfortable.
A star off is becos my dad doesn't like the mummy shape, which he always found his feet are on the ground instead of on the pad, but i don't have any problem with it.

Having come from a big agnes q-core mat and then switching to sea to summit I can say that this mat is better than the big agnes in terms of weight and insulation factor but its not exactly the most comfortable. Sea to Summit mats are quite thin. I recently tried the Thermarest neoair xlite when I was in REI and thought it was more comfortable and even lighter. Also the mummy s... Read more

I'm 5'3 so I bought the short. It ended up being too short for me and I sent it in for an exchange. I am currently waiting to see if I can get my exchange. The short one I did get also leaked some air over a few hours of use. Over all it seemed to be pretty warm.
I've taken this on a couple trips now. It's compact, light and SO comfy. It's great for a side sleeper. And the waffle structure means you don't get as much motion when you moved around. Much better sleep!
