Backyard setup withstood series of down pours and windy storms. Threw a tarp down, an old sleeping bag, 30 degrees.Read a book and watched. The seams are all sealed with tape but 2 pesky toggles sewn through dripped. Downpour, remember? A little silicone fabric glue/sealer on a paint brush to solve that. Tyvec ground cloth. Good to go. This Tarp just did not work for me. Used during cold nights and mild day temps. There is no bug screen in the door or windows, but one in the vent at the top, so the bugs come in, go to the top, and can't get out. I had a lot of condensation at night, so much so the top of my sleeping bag was wet. I don't know how 4 people could use this without 2 of them getting soaked ove...

FOR...Just under 6lb ready to hike with and once erected and guyed out it is a very stable tent. The skirts should keep the cold out as they readily seal the tent up without anything on them. Sierra Designs does not make a specific floor for this tarp, though you could purchase some Tyvek and cut a floor that matches.
