I got this for larger pots and off road / car camping, it's been an excellent addition to my kit. I primarily use it with Snow Peak's IGT system and it's pretty awesome. It holds large pots and pans extremely well and is easy to ignite and set-up. It does not have a windscreen so you'll want to make or utilize an existing one in drafty conditions.
Packed size is NOT 2" tall. More like 3.5" at the tallest point. Pretty heavy, too. Don't even think about back packing with this. Quality seems top notch but I have not had a chance to use it yet. I will update this review if it does not work as expected.

Nothing bad to say about the stove. Well made, heavy duty, and great for so many more situations than smaller stoves. Very stable and amazing heat output! Sadly the owner's manual and safety card (attached to stove) are Japanese script, so unreadable.
