The Mastia features Tenaya's first ever thermally molded heel cup for maximum precision in heel hook performance. The split sole construction allows for extra flexibility while reducing edge deformation. The advanced technology and construction minimizes pressure on the toes while maximizing transmission of power.
The shoe features a single Velcro strap closure system for quick entry/exit and maximum foot retention, along with a stick rubber covered toe box for increased protection and grip.

I purchased these to compare with Sportiva Skwama. These are definitely softer and fit my foot better. Slightly narrow on my medium-wide foot, but not uncomfortable. I downsized one full size compared to how I fit my Sportivas. The toe hooking on these are outstanding! Great shoe. My only complaint is the lack of stiffness when edging, but that is the tradeoff for sensitivity.

Good shoes. Definitely run bigger than any other climb shoe I’ve tried. I wear size US -15 in Butora and a 12 was just right here. I do have narrow feet and these seem to be built for thicker feet. The only drawback for me is the single strap and thin tongue offer little padding for monster toe-hooks.

Finally a climbing shoe that performs really well but doesn't kill my feet. A narrower heel cup that's difficult to find in other brands means I can opt for a longer fit for my skinny feet.
Soft material inside means no painful rubbing.

It would seem Tenaya is good at making really comfortable shoes. Assuming you've gotten the right size. It was a little tricky for me to fine the right sized shoe (with no stores nearby to test fit, it is difficult.) I had to downsize 2 full USM size for the right fit around my heel!
