"I simply love Camp Saver. I ordered five items (a down jacket, a merino vest, a pair of snow boots, and two pairs of merino socks) over the course of three weeks. The jacket was exchanged, but other than that, everything fits perfectly and beautifully. Customer service is the best selling point of Camp Saver. I had four conversations with three reps and all three of them went out of their ways to make my experiences with the company one pleasant one after another. One rep (Brett?) was on the phone with me for at least 30 minutes, looking up several sources for January temperature in Lofoten and Svalbard in order to find me a suitable jacket. He asked all the relevant questions to make sure the jacket will accommodate my activities, and suggested the correct size to fit my frame. The size he suggested (XS) was a surprise because I sent back the last jacket in XS for a larger size. He was correct: the new jacket in XS fits me much better than the last one, and I have no doubt that with proper layering, it'll keep me warm in the Arctic climate. Another rep changed the prior order so I could apply a discount coupon. Another rep switched the coupon I used in the existing order with a time-restricted one so I can save the first coupon for later use. All of that were done graciously. Throughout the interactions I had with three reps, I sensed that the treatment I received wasn't out of the ordinary, and that every customer would receive the same care as I did. I've been an online shopper for 30+ years and have ordered from many large and small companies from all over the world -- Asia, Europe, North, South, and Central America. I've plenty of good and bad experiences. Out of all the good experiences I've had, Camp Saver customer service comes out on top. Thank you, Camp Saver staff. It's not the merchandises that make the company, it's the people, and you guys bowled me over by the way you treated me. Everyone knew Nordstrom wrote the book on customer service, but IMO, they have nothing on you."
