"I was looking for a waterproof, lightly insulated jacket for hiking. The first one was a no-go, but the second one is fantastic. It is a Mammut gore tex jacket, which I would never have been able to afford without Campsaver's excellent 50% off price. I am REALLY happy with my purchase. The shipping was VERY fast, which matters a lot to me (and it was free) My reason for only 4 stars is that it took some time for the credit to come through on my return. I now check Campsaver when looking for something and am glad to have discovered them."

"This jacket is really nice! It's long enough to cover my thighs and behind and I like that it has the two way zip. I chose this jacket because I hate rain coats with velcro and this one has the plastic snap buttons in addition to the zipper. The fleece lined pockets are really nice plus the nice shape of the jacket which doesn't make it look like you're just wearing a box. I've already gotten many compliments on the jacket. I went up a size so that I could layer underneath and it fits perfectly even with a down jacket underneath. The only complaint I have about this jacket is the collar. If you don't zip up the collar completely to the top, the hood will keep flying off if it's even a little bit windy (and even if you've adjusted the hood with the cords). I don't like to use umbrellas so when it rains, I really rely on the hood. The thing is it's very tight around the neck once it's zipped to the very top and is very hard to zip up even if you're wearing a thin jacket that also has a collar. Even with my down jacket underneath, and down is easily compressed, it became too tight (and I have a normal size neck). I wish they had made the collar area a little wider because everything else about this jacket is perfect."

"I really loved my experience so far with Camp Saver. My items arrived really fast (without any shipping upgrades). I ordered socks from Smart Wool, Heli Hestra mittens abs a couple jackets from Outdoor Research. I did have to make a return of some things that didn't fit, but I haven't gotten a notice that those items were received back yet - so it's too early to comment on the return process. Camp Saver has an excellent website with so much outdoor gear. They really have something for everyone."
