"The R1 hoody has been an excellent downhill skiing midlayer for temps down to single digits. Regulates sweat well when worn with a merino baselayer. Too sweaty for me without something underneath. Worked great as an outer layer for high output snowshoeing. Fabric seems durable. My only wish is that the zipper had an internal cover to prevent chin chaffing when fully zipped."
