This is such a huge improvement on campsite and tent lighting! The dimmer on it makes it quite comfortable inside the tent (although it would be great if they could make it a bit dimmer at the lowest setting without losing light at the brightest setting). This such a great lantern. Turned up all the way it is bright enough to pack up camp in the middle of the night. On low, in my tent, it was bright enough to do things but soft and warm light. I like how this lantern puts out a warmer light than the bright LED lanterns. Only downside is it is bulky. Good for car camping, but not for backpacking.
