Multi-use and takes up no space in my pack

Written on Sep 07, 2019

Really looking forward to hitting the trail in a few weeks. Many times, at the end of the day, I am gassed from a day of hiking. And having to inflate my pad is a pain. With this bag, my job will be easier and the fact it has multiple uses makes it an even better deal.

The Pillow I was Needing!

The biggest problem for me on the trail was sleeping because of an uncomfortable pillow. I went through several, until I found this one. Very happy with this purchase.

Cheap in price, but not in quality!

I like these trekking poles. I have owned a couple pairs and they provide the support I need on both rocky and steep trails. Good bang for the buck.

So far, so good!

Took this tent backpacking for the first time last week. It handled an overnight 30 mph crosswind pretty well. Seems much sturdier than the old model. Roomier too.

Soft light!

I like how this lantern puts out a warmer light than the bright LED lanterns. Only downside is it is bulky. Good for car camping, but not for backpacking.

Almost Magic

I wanted a backup to my normal firestarting tools. These fit the bill. Light, durable, and can be used in almost all weather conditions.

Good map

I bought this along with the Bkack Hills South map for my hiking and backpacking.

Great flexibility

I like these bottles for three reasons. Collapsibility; compatible with my Sawyer; available in different colors so I could avoid cross-contamination.

Perfect!

Having participated in two backpacking trips, I continue to learn how I can shave more weight from my pack. The NeoAir XLite is the latest item to help lighten the load. Looking forward to using it. I also appreciate the stuff sack and patch kit that accompanied it.
