I tried this shoe because I was looking for a lightweight shoe that would withstand the rains of the Pacific Northwest. I'm not a "trail runner" person; rather, I like to do extended walks in the Pacific Coast range and it is almost always wet. The shoe is very light and has kept my feet dry.
