This is a great product and fits true to size. Comfortable out of the box. I have the low, mid and high versions of this shoe and they are all great. The low version is perfect around town in shoulder seasons, the mid is great for 1/2 day hikes and the high works well for full day hikes with a full pack. I'm using these shoes for backpacking and the first day I got them I hiked 8 miles no pack and they felt like a dream. 2nd day 5mi. with pack, followed by 10,2,and 10 without pack. Since then I have done 10,10,4, and 10 with pack. Vasque shoes and boots are one of the only brands I have been able to take right out of the box and take off hiking big miles right away.
