Product Info for Voile Straps, 15in

If anything is better than duct tape it is Voile Straps. Made of tough stretch polyurethane and a hardened aluminum buckle, Voile Straps have many uses. You should always carry a few Voile Straps when travelling in the backcountry. A-frame skis on your pack, fix a pesky climbing skin, hold your shovel and probe together and of course hold your skis together for transport.image

Replacement for velcro ski strap

I use these (15" Aluminum buckle) to secure my skis together because of the ski profile and they are great stuff. They remain elastic in the cold and don't take germinate shape. Recently made the ride on roof rack from Va. to Co. in a 24 hour ice and snow storm. Road salt, ice and wind cause no effect velcro would have frozen up and not be able to be reused until ice thawed out...

Verify Size Needed & Check w/ CS

Ordered the 9" strap, which had a maximum size of 6" to 1" circumference capacity to hold objects, while the entire strap length is almost 9" from tip to tail. Please note that this size ONLY has a plastic, instead of the normal metal tip. THUS: If I were you verify your size range needed in circumference and then call up CS to have them measure the strap ranges...you will get...
