The Lost Ranger 15 blends backpacker-friendly weight with bad weather camping protection. Features DownTek which treats the lofty down insulation with water-resistant protection to retain its loft and warmth in rainy weather and moisture-riddled environments. Also includes Insotect Flow construction, which optimizes insulation by strategically placing vertical chambers with Flow Gates to minimize shifting and to ensure warmth where you need it most. These bags are taller across the top so you can roll over more freely, while the Free Range hood allows you to move unrestricted while staying hooded. So comfortable you won't want to go home.

Best buy in years for camping gear

I received my new sleeping bag a few days before going on the first trip to the Eastern Sierras to use it. Sadly, I only had 2 nights to use it but WOW! It was a HUGE upgrade from what I had. That sleeping bag is the best I've ever used. It is roomy and warm and the air mat kept its shape, didnt loose any air. They both worked perfectly.

I recently purchased the bag and am happy with it so far. I haven't tested it down to 15 degrees yet, but it's definitely a well made product. It's fairly heavy, but I wasn't prepared to spend the money for something lighter and this is a good compromise as it compresses fairly well into the bottom of a 45 litre backpack. Q Can you mate the Long/Right with the Regular/Left? I've used Regular Left/Right and they zip together fine.

Yes you can, but the long with have the top of the bag exposed. It is fine if the weather is not really cold, but if it is cold it allows cold air to get into the top of the long bag and makes for an uncomfortable night.

Q what size pad would I need for the regular size bag?

Thank you for your question. A regular size pad or bag will typically be 6 feet. Any regular Big Agnes bag will fit a regular sleeping pad.

The regular will accommodate a 20" sleeping pad whereas the wide will accommodate a 25" sleeping pad.
