I bought this product with the intentions of heavy duty use. I am very pleased with the product. My feet are comfortable all day long 12+ hours. It is waterproof and has saved me during rain and snow. I will be an advocate !

Went out on a gruelling 12hour bushwhack and these boots were amazing stood up through anything walked through water up to the tongue with no issues even in warmer weather my feet didn't feel too warm once

I initially bought Zamberlan 996 Vioz in 2011, and recently re-ordered the same model. I hiked approximately 7,000 trail miles before my boots degraded in the Vibram sole and in the toe area, where the GTX lacks a toe guard. Received them today. Great fit. Breaking in process minimal. Plenty of room in toe box., little to no heel slip. Looking forward to a proper walk this weekend to give them a proper work out. More later.
