I have worn Asolo Boots for over thirty hears, I'm partial to Italian boots. These are my favorite Asolos, a real classic with a single piece of full grain 2.6 mm leather forming the boot. I have been using these boots for almost ten years now. I am a geologist, and I work on slippery badlands slopes. These boots are durable, waterproof, and comfortable. Best that I have ever used. Well worth the price!

If a heavy boot doesn't bother you this is a Great boot. Beautiful material and high quality construction. EXTREMLY RIDGID! They don't mention it but these boots DO NOT flex if bending them by hand. Great for stiff crampons and light mountaineering. I do wear a size 15 so the boots weigh a TON, not for ultralighters. Best when used for short distance heavy pack hiking, unless y... Read more
I've only had the boots for a month or so. Did a 4 mile hike and they were pretty comfortable. Wore them in the rain all day once and feet stayed dry even without gortex. I bought them for hunting and they seam to be built very well and very sturdy. I'll let you know if they deserve the fifth star after a year. Pleased so far.
