Lightweight enough for backpacking, these bags are designed to feel more like the comforter on your own bed. They provide an overall more comfortable and cozier sleeping experience than ever before with a semi-rectangle shape and Insotect Flow construction that keeps the insulation next to your body for more efficient heat distribution. this bag with its appropriate pad is a very compact an efficient sleeping system everything stay where it needs to be all night long and in the morning you can just deflate ,stuff and go no need to dismantle everything . The extra room in the rectangular bag sure is nice .

This is my third Big Agnes bag - I started with the Lost Ranger, and haven't looked back. Plenty of room to toss and turn for us side-sleepers. The Fish Hawk feels right for the temp range noted. If you use this with a good insulated sleeping pad, you'll be plenty warm in this bag. I pair it with a mat with a 4.9 R-value and I've been warm enough into the upper 20s overnight with just a long-sleeved t-shirt and lightweight pants on (plus a beanie). The fabric is comfy and I like the extra room versus a mummy. It's a bit heavy for backpacking, but the price is right!
First off, whenever camping, your UNDER insulation is MORE IMPORTANT than your top for STAYING WARM. If you use this bag with a 30* pad, you may get cold at 30*. If you use this bag with 15* pad at 30* you'll be warm. That being said, in the right system, this bag is an outstanding value buy.
