This is my third Big Agnes bag - I started with the Lost Ranger, and haven't looked back. Plenty of room to toss and turn for us side-sleepers. The Fish Hawk feels right for the temp range noted. I find all the Big Agnes bags sleep "warm" for me, which is great. I use my Big Agnes bags with an Exped UL 7 sleeping pad - they pair very well. 100% happy with this purchase. It packs down/compresses well.

If you use this with a good insulated sleeping pad, you'll be plenty warm in this bag. I pair it with a mat with a 4.9 R-value and I've been warm enough into the upper 20s overnight with just a long-sleeved t-shirt and lightweight pants on (plus a beanie). The fabric is comfy and I like the extra room versus a mummy. It's a bit heavy for backpacking, but the price is right!

My second Big Agnes bag. I had a Lost Ranger that had a mishap. Loved it so much I went to replace it with the same but bought this to save space and doe. However both of these have a cold strip where the mat ends. The new bag is better and I like the extra space of the new design but the combination makes for a bag that's colder than it should be. Never the less, its still a winner.

Used bag a couple of times and is very well made, it's very comfortable in the way of room to allow you to move around inside the bag. Used bag on 40 degree low over night trip and was very comfortable temperature wise.

I really like this for spring/fall backpacking. Its light enough yet keeps me warm. I produce a lot of body heat on my own so that may be a reason it works well for me. Definietly need a sleeping pad for ground insulation.

Purchased this bag after quite a bit of research. I tried several mummy bags but was much more comfortable in this more traditional bag. I am a side sleeper and I toss and turn throughout the night. The bag packed fairly small and easily fit in the bottom of my Osprey Exos 58. Weight was a little heavier than bags with a higher down level but I wasn't looking to break the bank. I am 6'1" 180l

I like this bag and system. That said, I think the temp rating is a bit off. First campout was down to low 40°. I was clothed in base layer and still fiund myself more than a little cool.
What I like is thw integrated bag and pad system. I am a side and stomach sleeper. I found I was able to thrash about as I eould at home and still stay comfortably on my pad.
I would recommend, just ordef a li

First off, whenever camping, your UNDER insulation is MORE IMPORTANT than your top for STAYING WARM. If you use this bag with a 30* pad, you may get cold at 30*. If you use this bag with 15* pad at 30* you'll be warm. That being said, in the right system, this bag is an outstanding value buy.
Usually can be found on sale well under 200.00. 650fp down and under 3lbs (most bags in this class ar

Just to be clear. This bag is very comfortable. The big agnes sleep system is pretty cool although being attached to your pad takes some getting used to. The Fish Hawk specifically is rated to 30 degrees, but, I would not want to take it to that temp. At 50 degrees the other night I actually had a few cold spots. I attribute this mostly to the rectangular design and the edges of the non insula
