With the Big Agnes Q-Core SLX Pad backcountry sleeping has never been this comfortable. Multidirectional support and great stability come from the Q-Core SLX' offset I-Beam construction. Double rip-stop nylon construction with aviation grade TPU lamination make this pad wildly strong and durable. Larger outer baffles keep you centered on the quilted top of the pad. Anti-microbial treatments stop microorganism growth so that you never have to worry about your pad starting to stink after a long trip. The Big Agnes Q-Core SLX insulated pad is an extremely light and comfortable pad to sleep on in any condition. At 3.5" thick you 'won't be worried about the ground beneath you, and because the pad is insulated it will help keep you warm in 30+ degree temperatures. Generally, I use the Therm-A-Rest Neo Air X-Lite and 'didn't feel a difference in warmth with the Q-Core SLX.

I was surprised when I received because was so small and so light, and light and small in a pad does not sounds good, but it is in this case.

Love the comfort and weight, but the 15* rating is a bit optimistic. I have used mine in temps from 35* down to 19* and at the lower extremes it is quite cold. At 30* its sufficient but I wouldn't call it warm. I was a little disappointed because I am a Big Agnes fan. I know that after an extended hike most people can sleep on most anything but I always woke up sore or not completely rested. This pad is the solution!! For such a light and compact pad (I can fit it in my bottom sleeping bag compartment with the sleeping bag) it is seriously thick. Enough so that even some tree roots are no big deal.
