Much better, in important ways, than any other BIVY- Light weight- under 2 LBS. (but not the lightest compared to the bare bones BIVIES which have a LOT LESS interior head/breathing room, less roll around room, not to mention less comfort, breath ability and functionality). Compared to the current lightest 1 man tents, the 3 Wire is not much lighter but is BIVY-LIKE (while comp... Read more

I've had this bivy for several years, and I recommend it. Measures 90" long and 31" top by 25" bottom wide. Fits a 78"x25" rectangular pad inside. Has two small poles that are attached to support the hood and create the great headroom. One pole goes lengthwise, and one hoops widthwise. Has bug screen, so you can get ventilation. Easy setup. Good in all weather.

I was backpacking with 3 people out in the rockies. We were out there for a little over a week. I paid almost 400 for this Bivy thinking "get something worth getting or don't get it at all." 1st setup took around 12mins if put my matt down 15º day night -30. 1st night I was cold but the real problem was moisture. It just does not breath well. 2nd day even worse. So my friend Sc... Read more
So far this Bivy has been a great addition to my dualsport motorcycle camping kit. It packs up small, weighs very little and with my Big Agnes sleeping bag and pad it makes for a great night's sleep . I would give it 5 stars except for the value. You can purchase a great quality small tent at Camp Saver for less than the current price of this bivy. Quality=5stars, Application=5... Read more
