Rubber portion protects back of hands with slight padding at the knuckles. Has adjustable closure at wrist with excess velcro cleverly hidden in sleeve. Best alternative to customized tape gloves but much faster to get out of. I have small hands and hard to find gloves that fit. I ordered a Small & it fits perfect. Use sizing guide, if you are between sizes, order up. You don'... Read more
I have a pair of the old Hand Jammies (not the newer version that tears easily) which is pretty good, but the Ocun gloves are even better. They are thinner so they fit better in tighter cracks, and the finger loops are of a better design than the Hand Jammies. The only design flaw is the placement of the velcro closure on the back of the hand, so it's rubbing against the rock i... Read more

I've tried the Hand Jammies, Singing Rock Chocky gloves, and the Ocun Crack gloves and the Ocun's were by far the best crack gloves. Ocun's are thinner than the Singing Rock gloves and also have a velcro strap that wraps around the wrist to stay in place unlike the Singing Rock Gloves. They are more durable than the Hand Jammies (which would rip after a single use) but probably... Read more

These are the best crack gloves. They are low profile and fit well. The way the straps tuck under the rubber is what makes these gloves work. They stay put, don't shift and protect the back of the hand very well. Highly recommended!

Easy to get on and off. Stay in place when you are climbing. Protect your hands so much better than tape. Well made to last. I am just learning how to climb cracks and these gloves give me the confidence to get on the crack and learn the proper henrique without all the pain and bleeding.
I got these to do laps on cracks at the gym, and they're great for this. They do add more volume than tape, which is nice on fist cracks but makes thin hands a little more difficult, although both are definitely more comfortable. They're a little awkward to get on, as you need to tuck the strap underneath the flap, so I don't know how much I would use them outdoors.
