Perfect for cool weather climbing.

Written on Dec 27, 2015

Used this @ J. Tree when the weather was in the mid 40's to low 50's. It kept me warm but not too warm while climbing under those conditions while just wearing a base layer underneath. It's stretches easily while reaching for those far away holds. It's not designed for wet weather. It's also perfect as a 2nd insulating layer underneath a belay jacket. I wore the large size on a 5.8 170 lb broad shoulder frame that was the perfect size for me.

Best crack gloves I've tried

Written on Nov 22, 2014

I've tried the Hand Jammies, Singing Rock Chocky gloves, and the Ocun Crack gloves and the Ocun's were by far the best crack gloves. Ocun's are thinner than the Singing Rock gloves and also have a velcro strap that wraps around the wrist to stay in place unlike the Singing Rock Gloves. They are more durable than the Hand Jammies (which would rip after a single use) but probably not as durable as much as the Singing Rock gloves because of their thinness. The only downside is that the Ocun's tend to run small so try them on before buying if you can or buy a size up.

Perfect pants for climbing

Written on Oct 03, 2014

Stretches without binding while reaching for those high steps and holds far away. Surprising durable after 2 days of climbing on rough Joshua Tree rock.
