Features of Exped Mountain Pro 50 Pack:

  • Clean single compartment mountain pack in a very versatile size: no need for compression straps due to its slim design, which also brings the center of gravity close to the body for superior load control at all times
  • All adjustable straps have velcro tidies to keep the strap ends from flapping in the wind
  • Ice axe stash function: slide the ice axe diagonally through the grey grab handle
  • Variable positioning of the hipbelt buckle: either centered or, depending on personal preference, left or right over the padded belt preventing pressure on the abdomen
  • Transparent, removable, and weatherproof document bag made of high quality UV resistant TPU film. Can be used to hold hydration bladder, wet gear, first aid kit, MP3 players, etc.
  • Two ice axe loops made of lengthwise slotted webbing also hold trekking poles. The loops can be stashed under the shoulder harness straps when not in use
  • Seal the pack with the fold and roll closure in wet weather. the draw cord gathers and controls the top part of the pack
  • Body contact thermo formed back for perfect fit. Durable snow and water shedding treatment
  • Virtually waterproof in design with fully taped seams, a downpour will not drench spare clothes, chalk bag or guide book
  • Removable emergency bivy mat. Also ideal as a padded seat during breaks in cold, wet weather
  • The lid pocket features elastic pen holders. Use the carabiner as a key clip
  • Innovative one handed operation of the lid with Rapide Hooks crafted of lightweight aluminum
  • Shovel shaft and avalanche probe are securely stowed in the pack by elastic loops and are easily accessed when needed
  • Quality breathable 3D spacer mesh shoulder straps prevent heat build up and offer superb comfort. Minimalist shoulder strap stretch assists torso movement (e.g. when climbing)
  • Trekking poles attach quickly to the side of the pack. Skis, snowshoes, snowboards, etc. can also be secured to the front using the 4 included webbing straps
  • Removable slim shaped hipbelt carries the weight without obstructing a climbing harness
  • 2 internal gear loops for organization: clip climbing hardware here to keep it out of the bottom of the pack. 4 multi-purpose webbing straps are included
  • Quick closing option: use only one carabiner attached to the central loop
  • Lateral ski attachment made easy: feed the 4 included webbing straps (2 on each side of the pack) through the daisy chains. The strap length can be adjusted steplessly depending on ski-width
  • Depending on ski-length and personal preference, place the included webbing straps in the desired loop of the daisy-chain
  • Quick and easy pack side ski attachment
  • Modular: skis can also be attached diagonally to the front of the pack
