Newer Version of backpack is better and worth it

The Gregory J38 is the older version of the Gregory Jade 38 backpack. I compared both backpacks and think the Jade 38 is the better option. I am 5 feet and 115 pounds and ordered the XS in the J38. I purchased this backpack for my wife for use on day hiking trips. The quality is like our other Gregory packs.......excellent. The size is spacious enough for even an overnighter. The harness/vented back panel look like they will be comfortable. She loves the purple color!

finally, a pack that fits my small torso/back

There are so many women's backpacks out there that even for me, it doesn't fit because I have such a small torso. I'm barely 5 feet tall and this backpack fits like a glove.
