I bought the shoe in 9.5 and it was too small. The lowa tibet fit good in 9.5. I decided to keep the tibet and sent back the hanwags. No problem with costumer service.
I really like Hanwag boots and have a pair of their Tashi boots that fit me like a glove. These boots have amazing craftmanship and are hand made in Germany. Own many brands of high end boots several Lowa, Kenetrek, Zamberlan Tofane.
The Hanwags were the most instantly supportive and comfortable of all and price was lower than most in my boot collection. I am a 12 Medium and these fit perfectly in size 12 M.

Excellent boots and just what I was looking for with great Vibram sole for steep rugged terrain. Not designed for technical alpine climbing but that is not my intended use. Check size. EUR 44 was US 10.5. Excellent support from Campsaver staff to ensure I got the correct size. Thanks to all.
