I use this pad in a different way. I’m a grad student and like to take cat naps in a library study room. My sleeping system is made up of a fleece pillow stuff sack, a thermarest sit pad—these two are added to the pillow. For a blanket, I use different things. In my experience, this pad needs to be blown up as much as possible as that helps to stop my back from getting too cold...

You may look at this apparently frail web of plastic and think, 'come on. I'm a grown-ass man. There's no way something that flimsy can even hold me up, much less keep me comfortable!' And you, sir, would be like me. Dead Wrong. My initial plan was actually to buy this thing, learn the error of my ways and send it back. But, after a few nights outside, there's no way I'm ...

I have tried it out on a variety of surfaces, although realistically this is a trail pad. I wanted worst case from laying on a hard floor to being on a rockier trail to being on softer ground. This sleeping pad is very lightweight and fills quickly with air. It fits nicely in my mummy sleeping bag. I think I will sleep warm and comfortable when I head out this summer for backpack camping. It seems to be of good quality.

At 5' 8" 175lbs I figured this pad was sure bet with the positive reviews from other bigger people. A plus is the air pocket concept does work. It is light and packs small. BUT it lacks support. I tried it for three days straight. got the same results all three nights. Woke up several times every night with pressure points , either on my back or sides depending on how I slept....

This pad is light and easily inflatable and it fits right into the sleeping mattress. Does take a few tries to get used to the mattress. I would recommend it to anybody who wants a light-weight pad to sleep on. Would not use it for minus twenty situations though.
