I was a little upset to find that the product sent to my house was actually the Kong Robot. Pretty much useless for the applications i was intending to use the GiGI for. I also had a terrible response form campsaver who were unaccomidating to replace the item. Too bad cause i really liked the company.

All I wanna say is this is a life saver when bringing up seconds, especially two of them. Like other reviewers have said, be careful to set up properly and be careful about inversion. Just climb smart and you will be good. Five stars because it does what it is intended to perfectly.

This belay device is great for what limited uses it has: belaying the second. It is very light and is fantastic for this purpose. I used it some while doing multi-pitch climbs at Seneca Rocks. It has its place, just not with me. It requires at least one extra carabiner, more for most uses. The instructions aren't very clear. I will be leaving this one off my rack.
