I don't want to tear down these pants because I do like them, however I do want to let the purchaser know that there are only two belt loops which are both located in the front. There are Velcro waist cinches on each hip but I feel they aren't enough if you take a couple tumbles on a powder day. Lastly if it matters to you these pant hand pockets zip closed upwards.
I like these pants very much. Not too heavy; more of a shell, yet there is thin polyester inner lining which combined with the MemBrain and tough outer Nylon leaves good warmth. Just returned from using the pants skiing in lousy, wet weather, and stayed completely dry. They have many nice features.

These a great pants that excel in winter snowsports. The quality is what you would expect from Marmot at this price range. The block wind, water and cold while maintaining breathability. However, if you are a short person do not purchase these pants. I measured the inseam of the pair I received (size small) at 37 inches. WAY TOO LONG to be comfortable
